Hosta Leaf Serving Bowl

Invite the woodland into your dining room with a hosta bowl I made by pressing the clay into a real hosta leaf.  Life is better when you transform your home into a natural refuge from hectic modern life: one leaf platter at a time.   I hand built these stoneware ceramic plates (instead of throwing them on a potter's wheel) which creates it's natural shapes.  I make my pottery this way because this is how I make my ceramic sculptures and because I wanted to make plates that felt like they had grown into being pottery instead of having been made into plates. Food, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe Measures approximately 10" in diameter.  This is a stock photo. Since this is hand built pottery, every plate is unique.
