We rescued some vintage new old stock handles from a Massachusetts hardware store that was going out of business and put them to use! We married up a vintage shingling hatchet head with a 14" Swan Handle Company "Hardwear" handle that is beefy enough to stand up to some serious work. 1.25 lb. head has a Rockwell hardness of 55-60 so she'll keep an edge! Comes with a custom, Maine-made leather sheath.
