Minnesota Sunset Reflections (photo print)

The original Sunset Reflections was painted on a road map of Minnesota using thinned acrylic paints to allow the map to show through. I choose a distant passage through the trees of this lake scene to lead the viewer deeper into the painting and the map behind it. The muted colors and blurred images remind me of the many times I've spent on the water just after the sun goes down, everything is still awaiting  the approach of darkness. * Brian Prints ship rolled up in a clear plastic bag secured with rubber bands inside a mailing tube.
