Chromexcel is made by the famous Horween Leather Company, a tannery in Chicago, IL. Known for its softness, durability, and resiliency to the elements, Chromexcel is an ideal choice for casual, rugged footwear. Packed with waxes and oils, the leather is easy to maintain and hardwearing. Besides featuring Brown Chromexcel leather, the details of the 403 Indy Boot are the same as the celebrated film original Indy Boot, made on the accommodative Trubalance last which can support orthotics if necessary and provide you all day standing, walking and working comfort.  Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build.
