Neoregelia pauciflora (scurfy clone)
An intriguing variation of Neoregelia pauciflora is often called the "scurfy type". This clone boasts longer leaves than the original pauciflora, which also flare out more. The green vases are slightly spotted with purple and decorated with thin silver bands, mostly found on the outer lower leaves. As with the original pauciflora, mother plants of this variation can persist for multiple generations, resulting in an impressive colony of plants that make it an ideal choice for stoloniferous miniatures grown in hanging baskets. Growth habit: Small Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
