Come learn how to make the lovely “Petal Pouch” from Noodlehead! Participants should have basic sewing skills and are encouraged to bring their own machines so they can gain comfort working with their machine.  Folks bringing their machines MUST have a zipper foot. (Feel free to email Melissa if you’re not sure if you have one!) This is a scrap buster project!We’ll be making a small or medium sized zippered pouch, lined with coordinating fabric and padded with batting or a heavy stabilizer. We will be getting more comfortable with using our sewing machine and expand our sewing skills — including: basting pieces in place to assist in trickier seams, sewing on a curve, working with more bulky materials, inserting a zipper in a lined bag, and achieving a clean, professional looking finished product. Materials needed:—Pattern—A small bundle of coordinating fat quarters (each pouch requires two coordinating colors — I love getting a bundle of 4 or 5 to mix and match)—Coordinating thread—Fus
