Flower Adornment (Avatamsaka) Sutra - Chapter 25 (a set of four books)

Chapter 25 of the Flower Adornment Sutra (Avatamsaka Sutra) is “The Ten Dedications,” a set of four books. Venerable Master Hsuan Hua’s detailed commentary on each of the ten dedications span across the first three books of the set, with the fourth book containing the sutra text. The ten dedications are made to living beings, the attainment of bodhi, and the realization of ultimate reality. In cultivating, we should understand that the ultimate Dharma sweeps away all phenomena and transcends all characteristics. When bodhi is perfected, we return to where there is nothing to attain.
