Tacticon Armament Level IV Multi-curve Armor Plate (TASPIV)   Tacticon Armament’s Level IV is an armor composite of ceramic and UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) weighing 6 lbs. As per NIJ .06 standard, it is tested to stop (1) shot of 30-06 M2AP. This application is made to give you the ability to completely stop an Armor Piercing round while managing trauma. This is a complete standalone plate that requires no soft armor behind it. The goal of this plate was to reduce as much weight as possible but still giving you the capability of stopping an AP round. We always try to prioritize weight and comfort and that’s why we have this configuration in a multi-curve system to help conform to your torso. This armor solution will also stop your other rifle threats like 5.56 M193/M855, 7.62×51(M80), and 7.62×39.
