This antique tile from the late 19th Century would have been part of an important fireplace or installation. It shows a pair of cherubs AKA putti coming home from a hunt. Hanging from their pole is a quiver with arrows, a goose, rabbit, and a turkey. These animals represent Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. This could have been intended to be used in a dining room. It measures 6" tall and 12" wide and remains in unworn, unused condition.The Cambridge Tile Company was founded in 1886 in Covington Kentucky.
