Dry, spicy and tannic, with toasted oak notes, this is demure and graceful in structure. An earthy, herbal undercurrent and dark, brooding black fruit, crushed rock and tobacco leaf drive this wine that's sourced from four appellations within the valley. It's approachable now, but will hold well through 2030. Small allotments and very hard to get! Usually winery only.
