St. Augustine Blue Collection - Scroll Basket Earrings

The earrings are made by repurposing a blue and cream, classic patterned, vintage tin container. The vintage tin piece is carefully hand cut with snips, filed and attached to a hand shaped and forged brass wire, which is then attached to hand forged 14k gold filled ear wire. The earring length (from earring hole to base of earring) is 2 1/4" and the drop length (where ear wire meets earring to base of earring) is 1 1/2". The earring measures 1" at the widest point. The earrings are light weight. Each earring pair is unique, as the tin is cut on different parts of the pattern on the tin. Please see all listing pictures to see samples of the variations in the earrings.  Please note due to the vintage nature, the tin may have slight scratches on the earrings. The backs of the tin may show wear and age. To me, those imperfections add to the story of the piece and are something to enjoy. The earrings are not intended to be immersed in water.
