DAMAGED LABEL: Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (750 ml)
Tasting Notes For Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 **** DAMAGED LABEL **** Launched with the 1990 vintage in 1993, and inspired by Bin 707, Bin 407 was developed in response to the increasing availability of high quality Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. The wine has achieved great success as a classic Penfolds wine. In 2005 it was rated ‘Distinguished’ by Langton’s, in recognition of its growing importance in the secondary market. Medium-bodied. The complete package. Juicy redcurrant jelly, dark plum and fresh rhubarb on the palate. Critic Ratings James Suckling Review - Rated 94: Strong statement of cabernet is the first impression, with violets, blueberries, blackcurrants, fresh leaves and herbs. I like the clarity here. The palate has such intense and rich fruit, with plush, polished and ripe blueberry and cassis flavors. Holds an impressively measured and balanced stance. A blend of McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Coonawarra, Padthaway
