Dated Emperor Trajan (AD 98-117) Phoenicia, Tyre Roman Provincial AR silver tetradrachm ancient coin. Issued in year 16, COS 6 = 112 CE. Large ancient silver coin: 14.29g, approx. 25mm diameter. Certified by NGC to Ch VF. Well centered with nearly complete, readable legends. Obverse: Laureate head of Trajan right above eagle standing right, club to lower left. Reverse: Laureate bust of Melqart-Hercules right, with lion skin tied around neck.
