Choice Extremely Fine Roman Empire silver denarius coin. Struck for Emperor Hadrian 118 CE at the Rome Mint. RIC 42, RSC 877, approx 19mm. Fine Style Imperial portrait with left shoulder forward and drapery on both shoulders (rare as such). Certified by NGC to Ch XF. Obverse: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust right, left shoulder forward and drapery on both shoulders. Reverse: P M TR P COS II, JVSTITIA in ex, Justitia seated left holding patera and scepter. Justitia is the Roman goddess of justice.
