Mint State Uncirculated Middlesex Pidcock's conder token coin, D&H 414, issued in the 1790s. Certified by NGC to MS 64 BN. Glossy chocolate surfaces with underlying luster. Very nice in hand! Obverse: lion holding shield, PIDCOCKs EXHIBITION, EXETER CHANGE LONDON (within shield). Reverse: Eagle with wings spread, BIRDS AND BEAST. Edge: plain. Token was issued to advertise Pidcock's exhibition of living animals at the Exeter Change, Strand.
