Near Gem Mint State Uncirculated Oxfordshire, Banbury Condor 1/2 penny token coin. Struck in the 1790s. D&H 1. Certified by NGC to MS 64 BN, with some nice original red color. Well struck with detailed presentation Rusher wearing 18th Century garments & appealing presentation of radiant sunface. Obverse: Three-quarter face bust of Rusher, Wm RUSHER HATTER BOOKSELR & STATIONER BANBURY. Reverse: Radiant sunface, DEUS EST NOBIS SOL ET SCUTUM (translated as "God is a Sun and Shield to Us"). Edge: PAYABLE AT BANBURY OXFORD OR READING.
