A Caldwell-style homage to the reigning champions of the greatest Left Bank reds, inspired by Pessac-Leognan and Pauillac.Seductive and complex, this wine is a temptress with equal parts brains and brawn. Her sophistication is on full display with ample structure and a bright, complex finish that carries her memory on in our minds for many delicious minutes...Generally the more restrained of the two “banks” in our Smuggler line-up, this predominantly Cab blend is made from some of our oldest vines that offer not only incredible fruit purity and complexity, but loads of umami, saline and a surprisingly youthful intensity all the way through its brambly finish.
