Chromasoma RCC1

This is part of my generative series titled Chromasoma. From the greek khrōma meaning ‘color’ + sōma meaning ‘body’. To create this series, I developed a generative algorithm that allows me to breed art at massive scales. The colors and textures are the result of a massive mathematical function with parameters that are linked to the "DNA" of each piece. By breeding together different art pieces using a human-machine interface and an AI assistant that I developed, I am able to explore the incredible depth of possibilities and identify potential solution spaces that have favorable characteristics, like the piece you see here. Because the art is analytically defined by a math function it can be generated at any size and scale. Each piece has its own unique gene identifier, written using the same notation as a gene in the human genome. I derive these by computing the dominant colors within the art, in order of prevalence.  Note: The Large Room and Mural sizes are only available for the Fin
