These are rooted cuttings. Camellia tsaii can handle light frosts only, so best for zones where freezes are rare. If kept in a pot it could be brought indoors when freezing weather arrives. You will need a sunny cool spot, such as a south facing window away from any vents. Camellia tsaii has wavy edges on its narrow dark green leaves. Expect it to reach 15 feet tall and tend towards a pendulous shape. Profuse, small white flowers bloom in late winter/early spring.
