Cornus mas 'Golden Glory'

This variety of Cornelian Cherry has a compact habit with a heavy branching structure. The bright yellow flowers open in the middle of winter, resembling a ball of sunshine. Bluebirds enjoy eating the berries through the winter. With age, the grey bark exfoliates, adding more interest. A wonderful specimen for sun to part shade, and for every winter interest garden!
