This is a preferred metal for many metal stampers. Aluminum is a very lightweight metal that will not rust, or tarnish. It is a lightweight metal, so it will not weigh down your key ring. Light scratching is normal with use and wear. Although it's lightweight, it is sturdy and will not bend or break under normal use. Hand Stamping: All items are hand stamped to order. Hand stamping is the art of using steel stamps, a hammer, and a steel block to create an impression in metal. Each letter is individually stamped using this method. It is all done by hand, and no machines are used. Hand stamping provides a deeper impression than engraving. Once the impression is made, I use a permanent black ink to fill in the impression.
