French Stoneware Cheese Molds

Demure in color and utilitarian in nature, these French Faisselle cheese strainers date to the late 1800's/early 1900's.  No two are alike, each varying in texture, size, and color, while boasting a unique glazed finish.  Today, we find practical use with them as dish brush holders in our kitchens, or candle votives, where they cast a warm and delicate glow.
