Oil on Canvas - Portrait of a Gentleman

Approximate Dimensions: 25” Wide, 30” Tall A 19th C. oil on canvas portrait of a gentleman.  With a rich deep brown backdrop, this portrait depicts a man in a brown overcoat with a navy lapel. The center folds of his shirt read a subtle cream, with a white collar.  There are several areas of paint loss, most notably above the right shoulder, please review all photos carefully. There is a Winsor & Newton back stamp, giving origin to the prestigious art company headquartered in London.
