Day 06

Day 06 of “My Heart”8x8 - Gallery wrapped canvas Today is the sixth day of 28 days of daily paintings that will drop first thing each morning. Each day, I’ll tell a little bit about my story as an artist and how it makes me who I am. I hope in sharing these little pieces of my heart, you will know how much painting means to me. After Scot and I got married, we lived in our college town for a year while he finished up his masters. I worked as a waitress, at the local hospital doing some photography and graphic design work, and I also took wedding and family pictures. We moved to the Dallas area where I took a full time job as a graphic designer at a huge church. I worked there for around two years until we had our first baby. Meanwhile, my old college paints were languishing in a box at home.
