SISU Bracelet // Tulip[see-soo] Finnish To the Finnish people, issue has a mystical, almost magical meaning. It is a term that can be roughly translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sis is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain that courage. I gave these bracelets this name because I took a chance with creating these pieces with an qppliqué type of design. I honestly wasn't sure how it would work out. I sawed out the design and with careful planning, I was able to keep track of, and then solder down, all the itty bitty inside pieces that I had sawn out. I had to take that leap and trust in my abilities. I had to see it through to the end.
