Fall in Winfield

Fall near the abandoned mining town of Winfield, Colorado. Golden leaves blanket the mountainsides as chilly winds blow through the basin signaling of the season soon to come. In the distance you can hear the soft sound of Clear Creek trundling through the valley to the lake below. Trout skim the surface for their last alpine meal before having to descend the creek to deeper water. Surrounded by 14,000+ foot peaks in every direction this is a mountain lovers paradise.
