Handpainted and researched map of the Viking Age written in Runes. Specifically, the text is written in Long-branch Younger Futhark and was made to correlate to the phonetic old norse pronunciation of the placenames listed. Whenever possible, I used runic inscriptions in Scandinavia to confirm the correct spelling of these places. We see the influence of the vikings from Russia to England to Canada.High-quality giclee print available at various sizes.
