Chapel at the Château de Beynac Deux - photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

The Chapel at Château de Beynac Deux  While traveling in the Dordogne region of France I visited this castle built in the 12 century by the Barons of Beynac. My mind swims with thoughts when I see this place, I wonder how many people have walked the path to the chapel door.  Who and how did this group build this amazing structure, what must it have been like to live in Middle Ages. Hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel  Noir 55981, Bistre, and Red ochre inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints. Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 6 7"x 7" inches on an 11 x 15.5" sheet. Signed numbered and titled by the artist on the lower front.
