SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 10:00am – 12:00pm PTThis is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop! Inside every fruit is the potential for a Big Bang! In this gentle, reflective watercolor workshop, we’ll explore fruits as symbols of abundance and nourishment, and portray them as cosmic portals to the stardust within us all. In addition to painting fruits and their silhouettes, this class will look at how to paint starry slices of the universe, using a monochromatic palette. Participants are welcome to paint with more than one color, but limiting a piece to a single color and theme often opens up unexpected creative freedoms – encouraging deeper focus, refined expression, and inventive use of contrast, texture, and form. This is a space for reflection, not perfection. No art experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to grow. Come as you are, and leave a little more nourished.
