Vacation Edit with Rachel Kaye

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2:00 - 5:00pm PTThis is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop! Each participant brings a photo (or multiple to choose from) from their holiday (doesn't have to be this summer). We will begin by breaking the image into a simple composition. Using colored pencils, we will make a small drawing playing with color and pattern to evoke the energy of the photograph. From there we will work with watercolors to further explore the composition and pattern. **Charles Burchfield is an artist participants can look to for inspiration. MATERIALS NEEDEDThese are the supplies you'll need to bring for class—feel free to supplement this list with other options you love or have on hand!
