CADENHEAD TEANINICH 10 YEAR 750 mL

The Cadenhead release was distilled in 2009, bottled in November 2019 from three different Teaninich Hogsheads barrels. It is non chill filtered and no color added. It has, on the nose candies apple, creme brulee, burnt orange, lemon, cereal notes. On the palate, taste light sherry, nuts, white raisins, dried red fruit, orange oil, salinity, furniture polish, mint.  The finish is sweet, but oak bitterness develops back into the mouth. The initial heat has a bit, but it just becomes a flavor enhancer and comforting warmth down the hatch.
