Whiskey: Amrut Naarangi Single Malt The name is Hindi for "orange" because it was aged with wine and orange peels for three years in a sherry cask. Then finshed in another cask for 3 more years. Has a dominat orange sherry notes. Notes of figs, vanilla, and nutmeg. Using casks which previously held a combination of oloroso Sherry, matured wine and orange peel for three years, they matured a three year old single malt whisky for a further three years, which has resulted in an expression with bright, expressive orange notes shining through.
