We did our usual cleaning process and it really brought the whole piece back to life. There is a small area of surface pitting that was fully treated and restored. It will not affect cooking in the least! It's been fully restored and season so it's ready to use when you bring it home! The pieces are smooth and beautiful. The underside of the lid has the upgraded enamel coating finish that helps prevent rust from condensation. It does not sit flat on a stove top so while it may not be recommended for glass top cooking, it's PERFECT for all other cook tops and most importantly, your oven!
