These earrings were first crafted in 1940-50 as a 14k gold chain bracelet, deliciously heavy. As earrings, they are elegant and powerful, weighty on the ear with a mobility deliberate in its relationship to gravity and enhancing the natural lines of the neck.   They are designed so they can be worn in a single pierce on each ear, or can span from one pierce to another using another earring in your collection.
