2016 Sangiovese RESERVE

This limited-production, single-vineyard Sangiovese is one of those exceptional vintages where our higher elevation, cooler climate vineyard made the fruit intense with a balanced acidity. The Sangiovese grapes were carefully de-stemmed and optically sorted to ensure that only perfect fruit made it into the wine. On the palate, the wine is rich and lush, with flavors of dark ripe cherries and freshly baked boysenberry pie. Concentrated vanilla and blueberry build on the finish.  Food Pairings: Our 2016 Sangiovese boasts a beautifully dark, complex flavor that works well with smoky meats and fresh tomatoes.
