Planted in 1999, our Petite Sirah has a world class reputation! Always in the medals and magazines this vintage continues the Cedar Creek tradition of Gold Medals! Deep, inky purple with a nearly opaque core, showcasing the wine's intensity and youth. The nose is bold and aromatic, featuring intense aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and ripe plums. Notes of black pepper provide a spicy, savory complexity. Subtle undertones of leather and a hint of violets add an intriguing layer of depth. The palate is robust and full-bodied, with concentrated flavors of black fruit compote, including blueberry pie and blackcurrant. The finish is expressive and has rich, velvety tannins that are built to last!
