Battuto Bowl

DBO Home's Battuto collection means "beaten" in Italian, as the faceted faces of these shapes are made through pounding the clay into form. The geometric imperfections elevate anything served in them to something special, whether it be soup, cereal, or ice cream. DBO Home's custom Mussel glaze uses moving gun metal, to achieve a variance in sheen and matte that is unique to every piece. In a juxtaposed opposition, their custom Snowflake glaze is a satin finished warm white, with a gentle sparkly sheen that provided its namesake.
