Attributes: Broadleaf, deciduous, pink flowering large shrub to small tree. Features mottled, exfoliating, multicolor bark. Notes: Chinese quince is a tough, cold hardy shrub to small tree with absolutely fantastic bark, beautiful pink flowers and unusual, large, highly aromatic fragrant fruits. This is a nice, small specimen with excellent trunk movement and good roots. The bark has started exfoliating. Wounds close easily with high vigor and cut paste. CUt the long trunk extension down to your desired height. Make sure to leave a strong bud or stem.  Uses: Small size bonsai.
