Clusters of small white flowers in spring followed by bright orange-red berries in late summer to fall. Smooth gray bark. Notes: A graceful, underused species in bonsai with small leaves and fine branching. Berry clusters add seasonal interest. Responds well to pruning and wiring. Attracts birds and pollinators.
