"Safely tucked under the stairs in a cozy cabin by sea lives a small craft nook. I’m not sure exactly what its proper name is. Grandma calls it “the desk,” so probably that. But I think of it as the craft nook. I never used it as a desk. For me, it was the home of crayons, coloring books, drawing paper, and just, you know, craft stuff. It’s the craft nook. Below those treasures sits the homiest contact paper with dainty little flowers in shades of orange, yellow, and olive green. I asked my grandmother what the story behind it was, and she said she probably just got tired of it being bare one day and decided to fix the problem. It really completes the craft nook, don’t you think? I remember using the craft nook as my hub on our trips to the cabin. I drew masterpieces with supplies from that craft nook.
