Visions of the Future

Visions of the Future came about while joining other yarn dyers in fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and their Visionaries of the Year campaign. Tasha Poe of Frog It! Yarns asked us to take part in fundraising for the organization in 2025, and we couldn’t say no. This year is 10 years since I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 16, and that fundamentally shaped who I am as a person. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society puts a special emphasis on funding research on treatments designed specifically for children, since the average child fighting cancer is receiving the same exact treatment as a full grown man. 20% of the money you spend on this yarn is going directly towards our fundraising efforts.
