The white sport of Allium schubertii, 'Arctic Snow' has airy, 12”-wide umbels of greenish-ivory buds that open white with green stripes and centers. Its bright green stems range from 1/2” to 8” long for the same delicate, feathery appearance as the original species. Long-lasting, it continues to look like garden fireworks as its flowers die back and knobby green seed pods develop. It is rabbit-, rodent- and deer-resistant, and adored by bees, butterflies and pollinators. It makes the most unusual and magnificent cut flower as well. Bloom time: May/June. Zones 4-8 Available for shipping
