This hard-to-find peony is prized for its unusual color and form. The blossom is amongst the largest of all peonies. Starting out as cherry-colored buds tinted with a bit of orange, 'Lorelei' opens into a wonderfully fragrant, 10″ rich, rosy-orange flower. You’ll be mesmerized with the magical transformation of the flowers as the petals become apricot-colored from the tips toward the center. (Hollingsworth, 1996).
