Among the first semi-double to bloom in the peony garden. 'Paula Fay' has large, semi-double, deep-pink to nearly-fuchsia flowers with yellow centers. The flowers float above robust, 30" stems that easily carry the weight. Very cheerful in the garden and quite fragrant. Peonies make superior cut-flowers, lasting more than a week if cut in full-bud. Requirements are few beyond 6+ hours of sun and neutral to slightly sweet soil. Peonies shrug off cold. LIMITED QUANTITY. (Fay, 1968). Zones 2-8 Bare roots available LATE-FALL and WINTER. 3/5-eye. We do NOT ship potted peonies.
