Description:This hand-operated portable centrifuge is just right for centrifuging small samples with ease! Simply attach the whirlybird centrifuge to a solid bench, place the sampling tubes in the centrifuge, and start cranking away! The whirlybird centrifuge is capable of spinning samples at a whopping 3,000 RPM! The faster you crank, the faster they spin!     The unit has a single speed, hand driven worm drive fitted with a ball-thrust race enclosed in a cast iron body. The outside of the unit is finished in a nice gray finish that cleans up quickly.     The buckets are capable of holding our 15 mL poly centrifuge tubes for easy sampling.
