ProblemWhile Persian-Americans have made significant contributions to the economic and social fabric of American life for well over a quarter century, very few Americans are aware of the scope and breadth of these contributions. The Persian-American National Day of Service is an opportunity to bring Persian-Americans together to serve their local communities and demonstrate the Persian-American commitment to give back to America. The Gift Your gift will fund transportation and supply costs for a local community’s implementation of the National Day of Service. For the Persian-American National Day of Service, PARSA will partner with dedicated local organizations and provide coordination and national publicity to facilitate the successful implementation of a local campaign. This first annual National Day of Service is intended to be a catalyst to inspire greater long-term participation.
