ARTIST SPOTLIGHT:  Henry Salas, a.k.a the “mouth ninja” is one of the most talented artists in the world. Not only does he create the most beautiful artwork, he does it using only his mouth and a pen or pencil. Henry was living a normal life as a young adult when in 2011 a bacteria attacked his spinal cord ultimately leaving him totally paralyzed from the neck down, and vent dependent. Henry fell in love with drawing and uses his art as a distraction from the pain and discomfort he lives with daily. Henry feels fortunate to be doing what he loves, despite his paralysis. Through his artwork he can inspire, motivate and meet interesting people, and he loves most when he can make people feel something powerful through his designs.
