96 Points CellarTracker Member NYE park city montage apex. Still very young in its secondary stage. Needed a lot of time to open up but still a sleeping beauty. More tobacco and earth than the last bottle, but also a rich red fruited pallet. Depth depth depth. Absolutely blown away for the second time by this wine. Needs a lengthy decant to be properly enjoyed. Please don’t PNP this gem. Great contrast next to the 2012 Blankiet Mythicus (a testament to the late Denis Malbec). A wine that deserves a few paragraphs on its own. 1/1/2019 94 Points Wine Advocate A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the pale to medium brick colored 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill Estate Vineyard has a nose that is tiring just slightly, giving way to tobacco, incense, smoked meats and new leather notes plus wafts of menthol and dried mulberries. Medium to full-bodied, it has a velvety texture and plenty of meaty/savory flavors, with seamless freshness and a long,
