Forman, Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

96 points Decanter Fragrant black cherry and blackcurrant, wet rocks, pencil shavings, cigar smoke and floral top notes are the prelude to a savoury, beautifully structured wine framed around chalky, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. Ric Forman is not far from celebrating his 50th vintage in Napa Valley, and sums up 2013 as emphatically 'one of the good ones'! His wines represent some of the best value to be found in Napa Valley at this level. (WK) (5/2016) 94 points Vinous Ric Forman's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is all class. The 2016 won't be ready to drink for at least another few years, but it is already super attractive, and also very typical of Ric Forman's style.
