Base of neck or better; In Original Carton 92 points CellarTracker Member Double blind. Dark core with a touch of bricking at the meniscus. Lovely bouquet of tobacco, black currants and violets. Flavors of currants, plum, cherry and green tobacco. I am struggling to determine if this is from Bordeaux or California. Forest floor notes emerge with air. Just a touch lean perhaps, and the acidity is there, so the while the fruit says CA, the structure leads me to Bordeaux, perhaps 1995. A very good showing for this wine. 93+ pts. (1/2020)
